Andrew Waddle of Springfield and Kerry Jean Friend from Leesburg announce their marriage to be held July 9, 2011 at Fairfield School.
Andrew is a 1997 graduate of Greenon High School in Enon and a 2002 graduate of Wittenberg University, where he is presently the defensive coordinator for the football team.
Kerry Jean graduated from Fairfield High School in 2001, from Otterbein College in 2005 and attained her master’s degree in 2009, while recovering from a blood disease and bone marrow transplant. She is presently working as activities coordinator at the City of Kettering Recreation and Fitness Center.
Kerry Jean hopes her wedding will also serve as a “thank you” to the Leesburg community for its widespread support during her illness, and she has extended an open invitation to Leesburg churches.
