Adena seeks volunteers for cancer center

CHILLICOTHE – Do you know someone interested in helping to make a difference in the lives of patients with cancer? If so, volunteers are needed in the boutique, inside the new Adena Cancer Center.
And there’s nothing to say couples can’t volunteer, said Cindy Drummond, Adena’s Director of Volunteer Services.
The center, located on the campus of the Adena Medical Center, officially opens in January when volunteers would begin helping, she said.
To be eligible as a volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old and outgoing, dependable and friendly. Volunteers are asked to provide at least four hours a month.
