The Highland District Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the receipt of a $13,000 donation from The Cassner Foundation.  The funds will be used for the 2010 Health Fair scheduled for April 17, the ongoing $20 screening mammogram voucher program, and new fetal monitoring system in the HDH Maternity Department.   Since 2003, The Cassner Foundation has contributed $84,500 to the Highland District Hospital Foundation and supported the Diabetes & You—Living the Wellness Lifestyle program, bone density screening project, mammogram voucher program, and the Have a Heart campaign that placed two AEDs at the Hillsboro Fire Department.

The HDH Foundation and the staff of Highland District Hospital thanks The Cassner Foundation, which was founded by Alvin and Alice Cassner, and Jon Cassner, Chairman, for supporting the mission of the HDH Foundation and Highland District Hospital--to serve the community by providing accessible, efficient, safe, quality healthcare in an atmosphere of compassion.[[In-content Ad]]
