Lori Ross Jenkins, 4-H Advisor for Lucky Green 4-H Club (This was written by Lori in 1981 and was submitted to us by her daughter Emmy)
There’s a person that should be commended
For their outstanding work in their field
This person needs time, patience and faith
And sometimes an armor and shield
Sometimes there may be some problems
Like trying to get a project complete
But with the courageous help of the advisor
It will turn out perfect and neat
Many hours is spent doing paperwork
Or planning an upcoming event
If they got paid for their job
They’d probably be making a mint
When the working and trying and practicing
Has finally managed to get done
The advisor probably feels as if
A wonderful battle is won
When your exciting years in 4-H
Has finally come to an end
You’ve not only gain experience
You’ve also gained a special friend[[In-content Ad]]
