The 16th annual SATH Car and Bike Show at Rocky Fork State Park is changing. On Aug. 1 at the Rocky Fork State Park campgrounds, off of North Shore Drive in Hillsboro, vehicle enthusiasts will have a chance to enter a great show.
The show will be a top 40 show, with trophies for the top car, top truck, and top bike. Additionally, five different choice awards and five special awards will be presented that day. Registration will be from noon to 3 p.m., with trophies at 4 p.m. Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 participants. The cost is $75 per vehicle. But this event is not just for car lovers – booths and games will also be set up. For more information, about the show, contact Brett at (937) 393-8550.
But the biggest change is happening with the addition of an honest-to-goodness charity hog roast.
That’s right, the dinner campers and volunteers cannot seem to get enough of the last night at camp is coming to this car show. The roast will be served from 3-5 p.m. For just $10 a plate, you can enjoy fresh pulled pork, corn on the cob, cole slaw, baked beans, and more. For advance tickets, contact Jill at (937) 840-0216. If you don’t get an advance ticket, the cost will be $12 per plate. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Proceeds from this fun-filled day will benefit KAMP Dovetail, a four-night, five-day summer camp for children with special needs to be
held during the week of June 18 at Rocky Fork State Park.
