Winona Irene Dunn, 80, of Sevierville, Tenn., formerly of Greenfield, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at her home.
She was born Dec. 10, 1930 in Springfield, the daughter of Raymond and Ethel (Frock) Mercer.
She was a former member of the Fruitdale Methodist Church, F.O.E. #1325 Women's Auxiliary, past trustee for Greenfield Area Life Squad and an avid fan of bingo. She was involved with child care with many children in the Greenfield area and was a driver for a medical lab company.
She is survived by one son, J.D. (Nikki) Dunn of Sevierville; one daughter, Diana "Dee" (Tim Mead) Bobb of Bainbridge; six grandchildren, Phillip Bobb of Bainbridge, Colton (Emily) Raypole of Jeffersonville, Michaela (Curtis) Ingles of Greenfield, Kallie Bobb of Bainbridge, Shiloh Raypole of Jeffersonville and Makenzie Bobb of Bainbridge; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Dunn, Sr. on March 2, 2007 and both parents.
Memorial services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Joe Current officiating.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday.
