Warren Beckham, Sr., 76, of Peebles, died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Cincinnati, on Oct. 26, 1934, the son of the late Fred and Helen (Obel) Beckham.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter; Linda Mossman.

Warren was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the American Legion, and Cincinnati Masonic Lodge #69.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Bacon) Beckham of Peebles, whom he married on Aug. 19, 1961; three sons; Warren and Mary Harris of Utah, Warren Beckham, Jr. of Cincinnati, and Scott Beckham of Peebles; three daughters, Jackie Simmons of Seaman, Becky and Roger Sexton of Peebles, and Helen Beckham of West Union; two sisters, Joyce Waller of Cincinnati and Sylvia Herrmann of Mainville; 19 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 7 at 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with James Ritchie officiating. Military Rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard. Friends may call on Thursday from noon-1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
