Wanda Marie Greene

Wanda Marie Greene, 86, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
 
She was born Sept. 5, 1939 in Greenfield, the daughter of Robert “Turk” and Martha (Moore) Murphy.  
 
She was a 1957 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and member of the Rainsboro First United Methodist Church.
 
She was a homemaker and former manager of Rocky Fork Truck Stop Restaurant.
 
She is survived by her husband, Dale E. Greene, whom she married on Dec. 29, 1968; eight children, Christine (Bob) Flood of Fairborn, Donnie O’Connor of Enon, Dennis (Teresa) Greene of Maryland, Cheryl (Jeff) Vernon of Texas, Cecil (Glenda) Greene of Mount Orab, Rob (Kristin) Greene of Cincinnati, Jennifer (Ryan) Collier of Hillsboro and Jeff Greene of Hillsboro; 12 grandchildren; 26 six great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Mustard of West Union, Mike Murphy of Bainbridge; one sister, Susie Cooper of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by one brother, Eric Murphy; one sister, Pat Spencer; father, Robert “Turk” Murphy’ and mother, Martha Mustard.
 
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
