Virginia W. Tolle, 90, of Florence, Ky. (formerly of Seaman), passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013.

She was born in Adams County on Sept. 28, 1922, the daughter of the late John P. and Stella M. (Mabry) Webb.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Wheeler; her second husband, Ray Tolle; and one sister, Lyda McFarland.

She was a schoolteacher and had taught school in the Adams County school system and the Boone County school system in Kentucky.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Brenda Wheeler of Seaman; one sister, Irene Davis of Cincinnati; three grandchildren, John Wheeler of Seaman, Stella Wheeler of Fruitland Park, Fla., and Amanda Wheeler of Seaman; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at the Wallace-Thompson Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Homer Holstead officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Seaman American Legion Auxiliary.
