Thomas Phillip Howland, 63, of South Salem, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 in a car accident on Austin-Good Hope Road, Frankfort.
He was born Jan. 15, 1947 in Pike County, the son of Oakie and Gladys (Grooms)
Howland.

He was a truck driver and a member of the Dragon Angels Car Racing Club of Washington Court House.

He is survived by a daughter, April Howland of South Salem; his mother, Gladys Howland of Greenfield; a granddaughter, Jessica Terry of South Salem; a sister, Judith Clouser of Greenfield; and a brother, Douglas (Jo) Howland of Greenfield.

He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Thomas Jr.; and a sister, Bonnie Cottrill.

Services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield with Father Mike Paraniuk officiating. Burial will follow at Gardner Cemetery near Morgantown, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Monday.
