Steven Phillip Risley, 24, of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at the Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born Sept. 30, 1988 in Springfield, the son of Patti Risley of Leesburg.
He was very outgoing, loved animals and enjoyed gardening, cooking and had just taken up knitting. He had attended Southern State Community College.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, John and Donna Risley of Hillsboro; a brother, Grant William Wisecup; a sister, Emily Lynn Wisecup; three aunts, Martha Risley and Linda Risley, both of Springfield and Judy (Don) Griffith of Hillsboro; an uncle, John (Sheila) Risley of Hillsboro; three cousins, Deedra, Sam and Evan Risley, all of Hillsboro; and a special friend, Wade Hamilton of Highland, as well as many special friends from Kamp Dovetail, 4-H, band, drama choir and honor choir during his time at Hillsboro High School.
A celebration of Steven’s life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at the Hopewell Center, 5350 New Market Road, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
