Steve “Harve” Tong, 60, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Chillicothe on Aug. 1, 1952, the son of the late Robert I. and Mary E. (Jordan) Tong.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Barnett) Tong of Greenfield; one step-son, Brandon Gibson of Hillsboro; one step-daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Jeremy Clark of Hillsboro; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles Robert “Bobby” and Diana Tong of Miller, S.D.; two sisters and brother-in-law, Malita and Dan Swank of Sinking Spring and Barbara “Susie” Hammond of West Portsmouth; and seven step-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Dan Swank officiating. Burial will follow in the Washburn Cemetery.

Friends may call on Saturday from noon-2:30 p.m. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
