Stephen G. Bean, 61, of Hillsboro, died Monday, March 21, 2011 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 12, 1949 in Leesburg, the son of the late Fred and Maggie Virginia (Scarberry) Bean. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kaleigh Bean.
Steve was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church. He graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Southern State Community College and Pennsylvania Gunsmith School. Steve was a gunsmith for 35 years.
On Dec. 20, 1975, he was united in marriage to Mary (Richards) Bean, who survives. He is also survived by one son, Joshua Bean of Hillsboro, and one brother, Edwin Bean.
According to Steve's wishes, he was cremated. No visitation or funeral will be observed.
