Stanley A. McDaniel, 96, of Frankfort, formerly of Greenfield, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
He was born May 23, 1914, the son of the late Clyde and Grace (Dawson) McDaniel.
He was a retired building contractor and attended Greenfield First Baptist Church.
On July 16, 1939, he married Rose Hafer, who preceded him in death on April 3, 2002.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Joe Lutz of Frankfort; grandchildren Joseph Edward (Melody) Lutz, Laura (Burke) Rawson, and Rosemary (Todd) Corwin; great-grandchildren Ben and Seth Clouser and Cheryl Lutz; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel Stout of Columbus.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at Greenfield Cemetery at 2 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 with The Rev. Timothy Mohon officiating. Friends may call at the Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home in Greenfield from noon until time of service Monday.[[In-content Ad]]
