Shirley Jean Irwin, 75, of Hillsboro died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at her home.

She was born March 15, 1937 in Xenia, the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Holtzman Stansbury.

Mrs. Irwin had primarily been a homemaker, but later in life became a Domino's Pizza delivery person because she enjoyed seeing people.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Cheryl Irwin of Hillsboro; one sister, Janice Barnes of Sabina; and two nieces, Gisele Kisling and Lee Ann Tolle of Hillsboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Irwin on Sept. 2, 1986; and one sister, Nancy Riley.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Richard Burns will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
