Russell Paugh, Sr.
Russell Paugh, Sr., 76, of Greenfield, died at 11:02 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at Edgewood Manor, Greenfield.
He was born on July 11, 1936 in Bainbridge, the son of the late William and Daisy Shadley Paugh.
Russell was a 1955 gradaute of Bainbridge High School and had worked as a carpenter with Bob Blain for many years. He was a 50-year member of Greenfield Eagles Aerie 1325, a 36-year member of the Men’s Auxiliary of VFW Post 4736 and AMVETS Post 61. Russell loved to hunt and fish.
On Sept. 26, 1970 he married the former Karen Foraker, and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sharon (Jim) Watson of Wetumpka, Ala.; two sons, Russell (Donna) Paugh, Jr. of Boise, La. and Mark (Katie) Paugh of Washington C.H.; two stepchildren, Glendon (Jen) Powell of Georgia and Christina Jenkins of Chillicothe; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and a nephew, Grover (Bev) Annon of Good Hope.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield with Pastor Dennis Brewer and Douglas Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
