Rosalyn “Rosie” Johnson, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away Jan. 6, 2026 following an extended illness.
     
She was born, the daughter of the late George and JoAnn (Benner) Priest, on Oct. 1, 1957 in Greenfield.
  
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Randy Johnson; their children, Jason Johnson and Kyla (Jake) Kellough; grandchildren, Courtney (Brady) Johnson, Cade (Cassie) Johnson, Camdyn (Austin) Mick, McKinley Swank, Alisha (Nathan) Kellough, Austin Kellough, Aliyah Kellough and Aleena Kellough; great-grandchildren, Landon Estep, Breanna and Liam Cartee, Caisyn and Cain Johnson, Ellah, Easton and Enzli Mick; her siblings, Rob Priest, Rhonda Simpson, Rich (Joyce) Priest, Rex (Jen) Priest, Ruth Jones, Ron (Lavaunda) Priest; and many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Calvin Simpson.
     
Rosie will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with family and spoiling her grandkids. She enjoyed shopping with her “me money” and watching her kids and grandkids in all their activities.  
     
Rosie retired from Johnson Controls in Greenfield.
     
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12 in the Ware Funeral Home, 121 West Second Street
Chillicothe, with Casey McFadden officiating.  

Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery.  

Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Monday.  
     
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice.
