Roma Maxine Blazer, 92, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 at the home of her daughter.
She was born Nov. 4, 1918 in Greenfield, the daughter of Charles and Olive (Miller) Smith.
She was a homemaker and was a graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Mollett; five grandchildren, Jon Wilson, April (John) Reed, Brett (Beth) Mollett, Jean (Bill) Whitaker and Walter Blazer; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Jasmine Reed and Anthony Mollett; one great-great-grandson, Anthony Mollett; one brother, Charles (Barbara) Smith; and one niece, Louanna Penn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Blazer on July 13, 1969; one son, Delbert Blazer; one sister, O’dell Stokes; three brothers, Floyd, Harold and Charlie Otis Smith; and both parents.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at the Greenfield Cemetery with Rev. McClellan Reed Nicholson officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield.
