Roger S. Burton 68, of Cincinnati died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at his home.
He was born April 25, 1943 in Hillsboro, the son of the late L. Earl and Ruth (Bussey) Burton.
He graduated from Hillsboro High School in the class of 1961.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Burton; his children, Heathe r(Jeff) Hastings and Ryan (Michele) Burton of Loveland; his grandchildren, Austin Hastings, Morgan Hastings, Alex Burton, Evan Burton, and Emma Burton; his brother, Dale (Ginnie) Burton of Cincinnati; aunts, Caroline (Bussey) Rhoads of Hillsboro and Charlotte (Bussey) Murray of Lynchburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Burton and sister-in-law Sue Burton.
Funeral services were June 8 at the Calvary Alliance Church in Cincinnati with burial at Graceland Memorial Gardens. E.C. Nurre Funeral Home of Amelia served the family.
