Robert E. Norris, 55, of Reynoldsburg, formerly of Hillsboro, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Echo Manor in Pickerington.

He was born Jan. 23, 1958 in Hillsboro, the son of Edward Lewis Norris Sr. and Cora Alice Dixon Norris.

Mr. Norris had been a parts man for the NAPA Auto and CarQuest Store in Hillsboro.

He was a 1976 graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School and was an ordained elder at the South Liberty Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy G. Edmondson Norris, whom he married on July 26, 1986 in Covington, Ky.; two sons, Robert Keith Norris of Grovetown, Ga., and C.J. (Tori) Norris of Marathon; two grandchildren, Camden and Arianna Norris of Marathon; his mother, Cora A. Norris of Allensburg; one sister, Kim (Tim) Reeves of Columbus; four brothers, Bill (Jackie) Norris of Buford, Dave (Debbie) Norris of Hillsboro, Larry (Anita) Norris of Lynchburg, and Mike (Dee) Norris of Allensburg; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancie and Johnnie Morrison of Burlington, Ky.; one brother-in-law, Phillip Todd (Gail) Edmondson of Owenton, Ky.; three sisters-in-law, Wanda (Brian) Palmer of Hagerstown, Md., Trenna (Kenny) Hughes of Hebron, Ky., and Tracey (Aaron) Lawhorne of Michigan; and beloved nieces and nephews and beloved great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lewis Norris Sr.; one brother, Edward Lewis Norris Jr.; and father-in-law, Phillip Walter Edmondson.

Services will be 6 p.m. Friday, April 5 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Hillsboro. Karl Flem will officiate.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. on Friday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory.
