Richard Charles "Rick" Rayburn

Richard Charles “Rick” Rayburn, 48, of Hillsboro died Monday, May 12, 2014 in Minot, North Dakota in a work-related accident.
He was born April 24, 1966 in Hillsboro, the son of Dale Richard and Diana Smith Rayburn of Hillsboro.
Mr. Rayburn was a construction worker and had owned and operated Rick’s Upholstery in Hillsboro for over 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Christopher (Miranda) Rayburn of Peebles and Chaz Rayburn of Hillsboro; one grandson, Brandon Rayburn; one stepson, C. J. Bartlett of Hillsboro; two stepdaughters, Jessica Wood-Forsythe of Alabama and Jessica Bartlett of Washington C.H.; one sister, Kim (Michael) Lee-Banks of Lynchburg; two brothers, Roger (Tracy Sexton) Rayburn of Hillsboro and Michael (Melanie) Rayburn of Peebles; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Mabel Lewis and Richard Rayburn; maternal grandparents, Estie and Hazel Smith; brother-in-law, Richard Lee; and one nephew, Patrick Lee.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 19 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Bob Wickline will officiate. Burial will follow in the Strange Cemetery.
