Rhonda Wallace, 81, of Sardinia, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Mercy Emergency Center, Mt. Orab.
Rhonda was born Feb. 9, 1930 in Lacky, Ky., the daughter of the late Nellson and Pattsy (Slone) Caudill.
Rhonda was a member of the Russellville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and a retired LPN at Crestwood Nursing Center.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Wallace; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Mike Huber of Sardinia and Margie and Bob Myers of Batavia; three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Cheryl Gibson of Hillsboro, Jerry and Sandy Gibson of Cincinnati, and Marson and Diane Gibson of Tennessee; one stepson, Tony Wallace; three stepdaughters, Deloris Jean Wallace of Columbus, Lisa Barr of Lynchburg, and Amanda Ballein of Hillsboro; one brother, Kudge King of Upper Sandusky; one sister, Pearlie Mae Hall of Top Most, Ky.; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard D. Gibson; daughter and son-in-law, Joan Marie and Norman Brown; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
