Randall Thomas Brust, 59, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Hospice of Hope in Adams County Medical Center after an extended battle with lung cancer.
He was born Jan. 25, 1952 in Columbus, the son of the late Ralph Brust, Sr. and Reeva (Robinson) Brust.
He was self-employed and previously worked for the Union Stockyards in Hillsboro for 30 years. He was a member of F.O.E. #1161.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie (Wilmoth) Brust, whom he married on Oct. 18, 1994; two sisters, Amy Brust and Nancy Brust, both of Waverly; and his father and mother-in-law, Eugene (Mary Alice) Wilmoth, Sr. of Sardinia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Brust, Jr.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Brushcreek Township Cemetery in Carmel. A visitation will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
