Norma M. Willman

Norma M. Willman, 87, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Nov. 19, 2013.  

Norma was an avid NASCAR fan, and she loved to travel the country in her motor home with her late husband, Dave. She and Dave were the founders of “Gateway Gulf," the original service station across from Daytona International Speedway. Norma was known for her love of the beach, shuttle launches and flying with Dave. 

Norma is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, David M. Willman; three sisters; and two brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Danny (Debi) Willman, Kathy (Larry) Cline and Steve (Mary) Willman; brother, John Martin; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Avery, Randy and Doug Applegate and Peggy Blankenship.  

Arrangements are under the direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, Fla., followed by interment at Daytona Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. 

Flowers are appreciated, but memorial contributions may be made in Norma or David’s name to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
