Naomi Davis Rudacille, 99, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010 at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown.
She was born October 2, 1910, in Lucasville, the daughter of the late Jessie and Nora Isabelle (Stephenson) Davis.
She spent much of her married life in Leesburg, where she was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church.
Her first marriage on Oct. 7, 1929 was to Hugh Davis of Peebles, and he passed away May 17, 1971. Later in life, she married Harold Rudacille of Altoona, Pa., on Sept. 4, 1982 and he also preceded her in death on July 1, 1993.
For the last seven years, she has made her home at the Otterbein-Lebanon Methodist Retirement Home.
She is survived by a daughter, Lois Storer, of DeLand, Fla.; two grandsons, John (Joanne) Storer, of Harrisburg, Pa., and Craig Storer of DeLand, Fla.; two great-grandsons, Jonathon and Jeremy; and two great-granddaughters, Janice and Angel. She also is survived by a great-great-grandchild, Darien.
Mrs. Rudacille was also preceded in death by three sisters, Edna Davis, Pauline Armstrong and Garnette Tramel; and a son-in-law, Gene Storer.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at the Leesburg United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tom Knauff will officiate. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Peebles. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
