Mildred M. Roberts, 67, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.

She was born April 14, 1943 in New Petersburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joe and Ruth A. (Newland) Grimsley.

She was a former employee of Greenfield Research and Sears, and retired from Detty's Cardinal after 16 years of employment. She was a 1961 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School.

She is survived by her lifelong companion, Homer Pinkerton of Greenfield; two sons, Dale "Marty" (fiance, J.J. Flowers) Roberts of Greenfield and Kevin W. (Barbara) Roberts of Washington C.H.; two granddaughters, Spring Cottrill and Danielle Roberts; one great-granddaughter, Tristin Cottrill; and one brother, James (Jenny) Grimsley, of Greenfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Charles Grimsley; three sisters, Wilberta Anders, Elizabeth Saylor, and Patricia Pinkerton; and one great-grandson, Timothy Cottrill III.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 24 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, April 23 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
