Michael Collins, 54, of Hillsboro died unexpectedly Thursday evening, July 1, 2010 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born January 19, 1956 in Hillsboro, the son of Roy P. and Barbara J. Taylor Collins of Hillsboro. 
Mike was a 20-year employee of Airborne Express and DHL Company. He was a 1974 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Judy (Fred) Pabsch of Alpharetta, Ga., and Pam (Mark) Coffman of Snellville, Ga.;, one brother, Brian (Janet) Collins of Lynchburg; three nephews, Chad (Carly) Coffman, Drew (Lauren) Coffman, and Ryan (Brandy) Collins; and three nieces, Ashley Collins, Stephanie Meir and Jennifer (Joe) Morecraft. 
Services will be held on Thursday, July 8 at the convenience of the family at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. John Porter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. There is no visitation.
