MaryLou Hodson Ivers, 72, of Wilmington, formerly of Leesburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born March 11, 1940 in Highland, the daughter of the late Wilbur Amos and Cleda Mae Murphy.
She is survived by her daughter, Candy (Gary) Fisher of Wilmington; grandchildren, Danielle (Justin) Brown of Wilmington, Brad (Amber) Sowders of Leesburg, Wyatt Sowders of New Vienna, Ryan (Shannon) Fisher of Blanchester and Krista Fisher of Wilmington; great-grandchildren, Bryce Posey, Maggi Sowders, Rylee Sowders, Aiden Fisher and Ava Fisher; and her brother Dale (Jean) Hodson of Highland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Herb Connover.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at the New Vienna I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Family and friends are invited back to the home of Candy and Gary Fisher following services for a celebration of MaryLou's life.
The Turner Funeral Home, Leesburg, is serving the family.
