Mary Louise Vandiver, 70, of Hillsboro, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born Feb. 24, 1941 in Brodnax, Va., the daughter of the late Acey D. and Mabel Louise Mosley Whitby.
Mrs. Vandiver had worked for the Candle-Lite Corporation and the Wal-Mart Corporation.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Ann (Donovan Roush) Hilterbran of Leesburg; one son, Richard Andrew Wall of Leesburg; three grandchildren, Mary Rhiannon (Brian) Vidourek of Beverly, Audra Hilterbran of Athens and Jordan Hilterbran of Leesburg; and three great-grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan and Caleb Vidourek of Beverly.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory.
