Mary L. McCollum, 90, of Greenfield, died at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 at her home.
She was born Oct. 24, 1921 in Marshall, the daughter of the late Samuel E. and Madge Pearce Fauber.
She was married to Clark McCollum, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Edwin (Linda) Newland of Greenfield and George Newland of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, Kathy Marsh, Mark Newland, Mendy Smith, David Newland, Lynn Smock and Zella Marsh; numerous great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marie Alberta Ellis of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Newland; one grandson, Kevin Newland; and two sisters, Nellie Mae Ward and Grace Hill.
Mary had been a member of the American Legion in Englewood, Fla.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. in the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield. Cremation will follow. Burial of the cremains will be in the Marathon I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Marathon.
