     Marjorie Ailene Tibbs, 85, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Hearth & Care Nursing Center in Greenfield.
     She was born March 12, 1925 in Lewis County, Ky., the daughter of the late Perry and Rosa (Gilliam) Fultz.
     She attended Greenfield Church of Christ.
     She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Ratcliff, who died in 1957, and her second husband, William Tibbs, who died in 1998; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Ronald Brickey, Sr., of Greenfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Paula Ratcliff of Taylor, Mich. and Timothy and Pamela Tibbs of Eden, N.Y.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Rowena Thorson, of Sun City West, Ariz.; and a special friend, Howard Hafer of Greenfield.
     In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Ratcliff; a granddaughter, Deneen Ratcliff; and three brothers and a sister.
     A graveside service will be held at a later date in Loretto, Tenn. Calling hours will not be observed.
     Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield, is serving the family.
