Margaret Montgomery Fenner, devoted wife, mother and proud grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 in Jupiter, Fla. at the age of 70.
She was born June 15, 1942 in Macon, Ga., the daughter of the late Florine and James S. Montgomery.
Mrs. Fenner was raised in Woodburg, Ga. until she was swept off her feet by her husband of 52 years, Ramon Carey Fenner. Margaret and Ray raised their family in Jackson, Ga. but spent their retirement years in Florida, Bahamas and Ohio.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Fenner; daughters, Durae Cleare (Kevin) O’Reilly, Carey (David) Latham and Janet (Rod) Benson; grandchildren, Brock and Luke Latham, Jesse, Natalie, Stephanie and Zachary Fenner, Victor Cleare and Colin and Camilla Benson; sister and brother-in-law, Maridean and Richard Reynolds; and brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Diane Montgomery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Carey Fenner.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to be held 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at the Hillsboro Cemetery. Pastor Josh McFarland will officiate. A memorial service is also scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Rock Springs Church in Milner, Ga.
