Lula Leo Hatfield, 95, of Hillsboro, passed away 1:40 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at Edgewood Manor, Greenfield.
She was born Dec. 10, 1916 in Pike County, the daughter of the late Ambross and Edna Wyckoff Finley.
On June 1, 1935, she was united in marriage to Raymond Hatfield, who preceded her in death on May 12, 1976.
Lula is survived by two sons, David Hatfield (Gail) of Greenfield and Gene Hatfield of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Roger Hatfield; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Mathews, Mabel Hart and Nellie Finley; and four brothers, Raymond, Leonard, Nolan and Chester Finley. She will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Jim Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
