Lula Couch, 88, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at Heartland Nursing Center in Hillsboro.

She was born in Bonny, Ky., on July 4, 1924, the daughter of the late William K. and Nancy (Vest) Henry.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Larry Jackson Couch; one daughter, Patricia Couch; three brothers; and two sisters.

She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Vickie) Couch of Hillsboro and Bill (Debbie) Couch of Hillsboro; three daughters, Pauline (Bobby) Beer of Jeffersonville, Ky., Faye (Dick) Weidner of Florida, and Sandra (Steve) Copeland of Hillsboro; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday from noon-2 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
