Louise M. Tharp, 96, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.

She was born April 25, 1914 in Bainbridge, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Freshour. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Tharp; daughter-in-law, Patricia Tharp; one great-grandchild; and three sisters.

She is survived by one son, William Tharp of Hillsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Richard Bond of Westerville; three grandchildren, Tina Coleman of Westerville, Rodney (Jenny) Tharp of Batavia, and Tonya (David) Williams of Leesburg; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Rev. Randall Goble will officiate with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. 

Friends may call on Friday from noon until 2 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
