Leon C. West, 87, of Hillsboro, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at his home.

He was born Aug. 11, 1923 in Glenville, W.Va., the son of the late Jeremiah and Icie West.

He was retired from S.M. Flickinger Co. in Columbus after 29 years. He will be dearly missed and loved by all forever.

He is survived by his wife, Donna West; his sister, Ruth Waters; daughters Linda (Johnny) Glenn, Judy (Richard) Joyner, and Amanda West; and sons Robert West, Danny (Margie) West. He also shared his love and life with James (Dawn) Welch, Jr., Patty (Charles) Murphy, Jane (Rick) Smith, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
