Kevin T. Walker, 47, of Sardinia, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born March 19, 1964 in Georgetown, the son of James Thomas Walker Jr. and Beverly Ann Euverard Walker.
He was a member of the Living Springs Community Church in Mowrystown, the Sardinia Masonic Lodge #254 F&AM and the Tokoshi Association; was a second-degree black belt in Jujutsu; was a University of Cincinnati Alumni; a member of Phi Beta Kappa; and was a well-known local musician and bandleader of Kelly Red and the Hammerheads.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly Walker, whom he married June 14, 1991; four children, Brandon (Leslie) Walker of Proctorville, Baron Kraig Walker of Mowrystown, Bailey Walker of Mowrystown, and Benjamin Walker of Mowrystown; his parents, Tom and Bev Walker of Mowrystown; his brother, Kraig (Krissy) Walker of Mowrystown, and his nieces, Regan & Hannah Walker of Mowrystown.
Memorial services will be held at the Living Springs Community Church, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Kraig Walker officiating.
Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday 5-7 p.m. Masonic services will begin at 7 p.m. with the memorial to follow.
