Kathryn L. Blazer, 61, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at the home of her sister in Columbus.

She was born on Nov. 16, 1950, in Greenfield, the daughter of Lawrence M. and Roma (Smith) Blazer.

She was a former employee of the Franklin County Auditor’s Office in the Weights and Measures Division, with 20 years of service.

She is survived by one sister, Carol (Alex) Mollett; two nieces, Jean (Bill) Whitaker and April (John) Reed; two nephews, Brett Mollett and Jon Wilson; great-nephew, Anthony Mollett; cousins, Louanna Penn, Howard Smith and Charlie Smith; other family and friends; and special friend, Sonja Todd.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence M. Blazer; mother, Roma (Smith) Blazer; and one brother, Delbert Blazer.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Greenfield Cemetery, with the Rev. McClellan Reed Nicholson officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral in Greenfield.
