Kathleen Main, 80, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 28, 1930 in Carter County, Ky., the daughter of the late Willis Hillard and Eliza (Johnson) Webb.
Besides her parent, she was preceded in death by her husband John C. Main on Dec. 24, 1999; one grandson, Richard W. Main; one brother, Clayton Webb; one sister, Margaret Webb; and two brothers-in-law, Fred and Carl Main.
She was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ, Hillsboro Chapter #441 OES and VIP at Rocky Fork Lake and was an avid bowler.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Amy Main of Hillsboro; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Larry Fauber of Lynchburg, Sherry Main of Hillsboro and Tammy and Carl Sexton of Otway; one brother, Willie Webb of Vine Grove, Ky.; one sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Jim Walker of Hillsboro; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Webb of Hillsboro and Beverly Main of Washington C.H.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral Home with burial to follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Eastern Star Services at 7:30 p.m. A reception will follow the services at the Masonic Temple.
