Joseph Scott Grim, 50, of Washington C.H., recently passed away at his residence.
He was born June 11, 1960, of Greenfield, the son of Gary Grim and Melinda (Rowe) Grim.
He was most recently a store manager at Quali-Tee Design in Chillicothe and was a former employee of the Lakewood Sportsman and French's Hardware, both of Washington C.H. Scott was a lover of water and an avid music fan. He was a 1978 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School and attended Western Kentucky University. He attended the Greenfield First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Gary and Shelba Grim of Greenfield; his mother and stepfather, Melinda and Jack Kessler of Greenfield; one brother, Christopher A. (Pam) Grim of Wapakoneta; one sister, Elizabeth Gale (Don) Long of Smyrna, Ga.; two nieces, Deborah Lynn Grim and Amber Christine (Eric Evans) Grim, both of Washington C.H.; one great-niece, Zandri Grim; one great-nephews, Jacob Evans; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Betty Grim and Maurice and Betty Rowe.
Cremation will take place, and there will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jack Kessler officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
