Joanne Beatty, 74, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Leesburg.

She was born Jan. 27, 1938 in Greenup, Ky., the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Olliver) Brown.

She was a homemaker and former employee of American Pad and Textile Corporation in Greenfield.

She is survived by two daughters, Angela Faye (David) Tritto of New Albany, Miss. and Tammy (William) Oyer of Leesburg; three sons, David Michael Beatty of Jeffersonville, James Martin (Marilyn) Beatty of Frankfort and Tracey Lee (Debbie Trainer) Beatty of Hillsboro; 16 grandchildren, Dawn, Melissa, Joshua, David, Courtney, William, Jr., Shawn, Jason, Cody, Cheyenne, Savannah, Farrah, Jeremy, Jimmy, Tre and Kristen; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Janet (Mo) Ellis of Greenfield; three brothers, Larry (Patricia) Brown of Loveland, Jerry (Carolyn) Brown of Hillsboro and Mike (Cheryl) Brown of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Beatty, on Nov. 23, 2002; one brother, Joseph Brown, Jr.; one sister, Faye Brown; and one grandchild, April Beatty.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jeffrey Brown officiating and burial to follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m.Thursday.
