Ilene Short, 68, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday morning, Aug. 26, 2010 at the Bethesda North Hospital.
She was born Jan. 26, 1942 in Pike County, the daughter of the late Con Chandler and Willame Salyers Chandler.
Surviving are her husband of 37 years, James Short, Jr. of Hillsboro; seven children; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five brothers & sisters .
In addition to her parents, Ilene was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Services were held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
Friends were received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010 3 p.m - 5 p.m.
