Helen Teegarden, 92, of Peebles, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Lynx on Sept. 18, 1917, the daughter of the late Preston and Anna (Knauff) Lathrop.
Helen attended the Peebles Church of Christ and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Peebles Chapter #396.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Kathy Riggs of Williamsburg; four daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Dwight Smalley of Peebles, Anna Lou and Tom Reynolds of Columbus, Sandy and Neil Parks of Hillsboro, and Susan and Mike Kuehner of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
