Helen Marie (Freshour) Conley, 62, of Frankfort, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at her daughter's home with her family by her side following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 26, 1948 in Washington C.H. to Leslie B. Freshour and Beatrice A. (Newland) Freshour.
She was a 1966 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School and was in private nursing for several years. She enjoyed bingo, knitting and spending time with her grandson, Zach.
She is survived by her daughter Julie (Doug) Colburn of Chillicothe and her precious grandson, Zachary Posey. In addition, she is survived by her four brothers, Reyn (Betty) Freshour, Dick (Connie) Freshour and Jim Freshour, all of Greenfield, and Howard Freshour of South Salem; three sisters, Sue Borreson of Wilmington, Jean (Jack) Yates-Norton of Greenfield and Phyllis Newland of Washington C.H.; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Tammy Fisher of Wilmington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer John Conley, on Feb. 17, 1998; two brothers, Virgil and Dean Freshour; one stillborn son, Joseph Anthony Buthcher; and both parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 18 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with Rev. Richard Eric McKee officiating and burial to follow at the Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of service Monday.
