Helen L. Rose, 83, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.
Helen was born Aug. 1, 1926 in Bethel, Ky., the daughter of the late Henry T. and Mary E. (Lacy) Rose. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William E. Rose and Edward G. Rose; and three sisters, Lillian Copher, Grace Wells and Maxine Crouch.
Helen is survived by one sister, Lucille Miller of Germantown, Ohio; special friends Jim and Amanda Kellis of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, Ohio.
