Hazel L. Satterfield, 73, of Bainbridge, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her home.
She was born Dec. 13, 1937 in Ross County, the daughter of Jams Howard and Waneita Merle (Hatfield) Washburn.
She retired in 2007 from W&W Dry Cleaners in Greenfield after 35-plus years of service. She was a 1955 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School.
She is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Roger) Mustard of Bainbridge; one son, Bob Satterfield of Bainbridge; her mother, Waneita Washburn of Bainbridge; and her pet dog, Smudges. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Kelley Nicely of Mt. Orab.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Satterfield, on Feb. 20, 2007; one infant sister, Thelma Washburn; one brother, Rick Washburn; her father, James Howard Washburn; one sister-in-law, Karen Washburn; and one nephew, Ricky Washburn.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with Pastor Mike Free officiating and burial to follow at the Roads Cemetery near Rainsboro. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
