Geraldine R. Blazer, 78, of Chillicothe passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 at her home.

She was born Dec. 21, 1934 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Virgil E. and Maxine Miller Penrod.

She is survived by her husband of 54yrs Forrest E. Blazer; children, Tracey Blazer and Steven Penrod; stepchildren, Eddie Blazer and Teresa Blazer; grandchildren, Christina, Melanie, Harley, Tabby and Tiffany; great-granddaughter, Macie; half-sisters, Sandy, Treva, Cherry and Melinda; half-brothers, Michael, Eddie, Billy and Corey; several nieces and nephews including special nephews, Virgil and Marcus Penrod.

She was predeceased by a brother, Virgil Wayne Penrod.

Geraldine was a member of the Happy Valley Church of Christ in Christian Union and she loved to sew.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Pastor Ron Cottrill officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
