Georgianna Kinnison, 88, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at Hospice of Hope of Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.
She was born on Oct. 30, 1924 in Wilmington, the daughter of Calvin and Laura (Ivers) Gilpin.
She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God in Peebles.
She is survived by one daughter, Amanda “Candy” (James) Kellis of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Karla Kellis, Jamie (Allen) Greene and Erin (Richard) Quigley; seven great-grandchildren, Josh, Chase, Austin, Trevor, Hannah, Caleb and MaKynna; two great-great-grandchildren, Kristopher and Jozlyn; one sister, Elizabeth Cross of Peebles; one sister-in-law, Mary Marshall of Columbus, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Kinnison, on March 20, 1991; three sisters, Geneva Ramsey, Phyllis Newman and Mary Newman; six brothers, Eugene, Lowell and Bobby Gilpin, Eddie Ray, Charles Harvey and John Marshall; both parents.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Harold Keaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
