Fannie P. Brose
Fannie P. Brose, 102, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born in Harrison County, Ky. on Nov. 16, 1910, the daughter of the late Charles L. and Ella M. (Clifford) Perrin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Brose, on April 22, 1995; one daughter, Helen Jean Brose; one brother, Ross Perrin; and four sisters, Louise Blackburn, Anna Rollings, Lena Bush and Myrtle Hardin.
She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church of Dayton.
She worked at Standard Register Company for 12 and a half years as a file clerk and 15 years for L.M. Berry Co.
She is survived by two nieces, Judith D. Jenkins of Hillsboro and Frances Swanton of Kettering; one nephew, Charles Withers of Englewood; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at the Thompson Funeral Home, with Pastor Kenny Cousar officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery at Dayton at 2 p.m. Monday.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
