Eunice Grisham, 72, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Wedonia, Ky., on Jan. 18, 1940, the daughter of the late Thornton and Lona (Hogg) Plank.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Alexander; son, Mike Bender; brother, Thornton, Jr.; and sister, Julie.

She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Grisham, whom she married on April 13, 1968; sons, Tony Bender of Hillsboro, Steven (Patty) Bender of Mowrystown, David (Sherri) Grisham of Sardinia; daughter, Penny (Greg) Waits of Wilmington; brothers, Noah, Howard and Alvin; sisters, Inez, Ruby, Helen and Christinia; mother-in-law, Maxine Grisham of Sardinia; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home, with Tom Walz officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardinia Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
